Conversion-Optimized Web Development

A Website That Looks Great But Doesn't Convert Is Just Expensive Decoration.

We build on WordPress and Elementor with one measure of success: how many visitors become enquiries, calls, or bookings. Every layout and copy decision exists to serve that goal — not to win a design award.

What usually goes wrong

What most web projects get wrong — and why it costs you leads

These aren't design opinions. They're conversion killers we see on almost every site we audit.
Designed to impress the client, not convert a stranger

Most website projects succeed when the client approves the design. That's the wrong finish line. The finish line is when a first-time visitor who knows nothing about you decides to get in touch.

No tracking setup — so nobody knows what's working

A site with no GTM, no form tracking, and no call attribution is a site where every decision about advertising and content is made on guesswork. Most new website projects launch with zero measurement.

Slow load times hurting both rankings and conversions

A 1-second delay in load time reduces conversions by an average of 7%. Google's Core Web Vitals directly affect how your pages rank. A slow site costs you in search and in sales — simultaneously.

The difference

A standard website vs. a conversion-first website

From first call to live site — here's exactly what the engagement covers.
Our build philosophy

We build for the visitor who doesn't know you yet — not the client who already trusts you.

The most important person your website needs to persuade is someone who found you through Google ten seconds ago and has no reason to call you yet. That’s who every layout decision, heading, and CTA is written for.

WordPress + Elementor for full client control

You own the site completely and can update it yourself without a developer. Elementor Pro gives you the flexibility of a custom build without the agency dependency.

Speed and Core Web Vitals as non-negotiable

The search terms report gets reviewed every 7 days — not once at campaign setup. Irrelevant searches get blocked before they drain the budget.

Tracking built in from day one

GTM, GA4, form tracking, and click-to-call are all configured before launch — so you have data from the first visitor, not three months later when you realize you can't explain what's happening.

“We’ve rebuilt sites that looked beautiful on a designer’s portfolio and converted at 0.9%. The problem was never the visuals — it was that nobody had thought about what a stranger needed to feel confident enough to call.”

What's included

Everything in a Website Planners web build

From first call to live site — here's exactly what the engagement covers.
Discovery & conversion goal mapping

We map your highest-value conversion actions — form submissions, click-to-call, WhatsApp enquiries — and build the site architecture around driving those actions, not just presenting information.

WordPress + Elementor Pro build (mobile-first)

Built mobile-first on Elementor Pro — the layout is designed on mobile and scaled up to desktop, because that's the reverse of how most businesses lose mobile visitors.

Speed optimization (Core Web Vitals)

Image compression, caching, render-blocking resource removal, and lazy loading — until the site achieves a Core Web Vitals pass and loads in under [X]s on mobile. Not just fast on a fibre connection.

On-page SEO structure

H1 hierarchy, meta title and description setup, schema markup for service businesses, and internal linking — so the site is ready to be indexed correctly from day one.

Contact, form, and click-to-call setup

Every contact route gets built and tested: enquiry form, click-to-call, WhatsApp button, email links. Forms are connected to your email and CRM if applicable. Nothing goes untracked.

GTM & GA4 setup + 30-day post-launch support

Google Tag Manager and GA4 configured to track every conversion action from day one. Thirty days of post-launch support so any technical issues that surface in the real world get resolved quickly.

How it works

From brief to live site — four clear phases

Discovery

We map your conversion goals, audience, and highest-value service pages before touching a design tool. Message and structure first, layout second.

Wireframe

Page structures are wireframed in Elementor and approved before design starts. You see the layout and flow before any visual decisions are locked in.

Build & Test

Full WordPress build on a staging environment. Speed testing, mobile testing, form testing, and cross-browser checking — all completed before you see the final version.

Launch

Migration to your live domain with DNS confirmation, redirect setup, and tracking verification. You receive full site ownership and a handover document with login and update instructions.

When paired with active paid or organic traffic

“[Replace with a real client testimonial — ideally from a service business that saw a measurable increase in conversion rate or leads after a site rebuild. Mention the specific before/after CVR, e.g. ‘0.9% to 4.1% conversion rate’, or a before/after lead count.]”

A free site review takes 20 minutes. You’ll see your current CVR, the three biggest friction points losing you leads, and what a rebuild would realistically change.

Common Questions

What people ask before a web build

For a standard service business site (5–8 pages), the typical timeline is [X]–[X] weeks from discovery to launch. More complex builds with integrations or larger page counts take longer. We'll give you a specific timeline estimate at the end of the discovery call, not a generic range designed to manage expectations down later.

We start from an Elementor Pro blank canvas, not a purchased theme template. This gives us full control over layout, speed, and structure. The result looks custom because it is custom — built around your specific service pages and conversion goals, not adapted from a design meant for a different type of business.

We offer two routes. Option 1: We write the copy as part of the engagement — using our discovery session to gather the information we need about your services, differentiators, and ideal clients. Option 2: You provide existing copy or draft content, and we refine it for conversion and structure. Either way, the final copy gets reviewed before development begins.

Yes — completely. You own the domain, the hosting account, the WordPress installation, and every file. There's no ongoing dependency on us to keep the site working. We provide a full handover document with admin credentials and update instructions so you or any developer can manage it independently.

Yes. We offer a monthly maintenance package covering WordPress core and plugin updates, security monitoring, uptime monitoring, and quarterly speed checks. This is optional — the site will run fine without it if you have a developer or manage it yourself — but it's available if you'd prefer someone else to handle the technical side.
